Some felt that it was insulting. Others felt that it was a stupid episode. I don&#8217;t agree with either of these opinions.</p> <p>I&#8217;m surprised that the writers chose such a powerful topic considering that they&#8217;ve spent a full season on nothing but nonsense that never actually goes on in a real high school.</p> <p>School shootings happen! Trying to pretend like it doesn&#8217;t is like trying to block out the sun with a thumb. This was probably one of the best episodes of Glee in several seasons.</p> <p>I also enjoyed the Becky storyline. Her character&#8217;s fears is a common fear in teens with down syndrome and I thought it was heartwarming that Sue was willing to take the rap to protect Becky.
